At OSR Medical, we believe it is important that everyone should have the chance to learn lifesaving skills, no matter how old you are. That’s why we have chosen to work with schools in Yorkshire to teach children the skills they may need to save someones life.
On Tuesday the 16th of October, it is Restart a Heart Day 2018. Restart a Heart is an event that is organised by Resuscitation Council (UK), Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS), British Heart Foundation, British Red Cross and St John’s Ambulance to train children in CPR.
After taking part in the 2016 Restart a Heart Day with YAS and Ripon Grammar School, our director decided to ensure that OSR Medical would train as many children as possible in the hope it would increase the chances of survival of people suffering from a cardiac arrest.
OSR Medical has now worked with two schools so far, in providing Mini Medics courses that show children how to perform CPR and other first aid skills.
These courses have important subjects such as CPR, calling the emergency services and the Recovery Position.
To get your school involved then contact us to discuss your requirements.
